We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in the Rochdale (OL1) area, working within a SEND provision.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education, with previous experience working with children or transferable skills being highly desirable.

Responsibilities
Supporting students with SEND across the classroom and school environment
Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and accessible lessons
Providing one-to-one and small group support
Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
Assisting with classroom organisation and daily routines
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
Requirements
Experience working with children OR transferable skills (e.g. care, support work, youth work, coaching)
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
