As we continue to grow we're now looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing Nights Precision Machining team.

Please note that this is a night shift role, and you would receive a night shift allowance in addition to your basic salary.

The Role

As a Nights CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for setting up, programming and operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision aerospace components to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Setting up, programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components.

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and CNC programs.

* Selecting tooling, fixtures, cutting speeds and feeds for efficient machining.

* Editing CNC programs and adjusting offsets where required.

* Carrying out self-inspection using precision measuring equipment.

* Completing quality documentation and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.

* Diagnosing machining issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

* Working closely with Engineering, Production and Quality teams while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.

About You

You'll ideally have:

* Previous experience operating and programming CNC machinery within a precision engineering environment.

* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.

* Experience machining precision components within aerospace, defence or another highly regulated industry.

* Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and precision measuring equipment.

* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

* A commitment to quality, safety and teamwork.
