Pertemps Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEMH school in Dorking to recruit an enthusiastic and resilient Qualified Maths Teacher (QTS) for a September start.

The Role
Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to secondary-aged pupils.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, pastoral staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Monitor progress, assess learning and support students in achieving their full potential.The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
Previous experience working within SEMH, SEND, PRU or alternative provision is desirable, although strong mainstream teachers with excellent behaviour management are encouraged to apply.
Is patient, resilient and able to build positive relationships with young people.
Has excellent classroom management skills and a flexible approach to teaching.The School Offers
