Job Title:** Quantity Surveyor
**Location:** M5 Corridor (Worcester – Bristol)
**Salary:** Up to £55k+ Benefits Package

**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing construction business operating across the M5 corridor between Worcester and Bristol. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, with a strong focus on Section 278 (S278) works and highway schemes, contributing to essential infrastructure and high-quality developments across the region.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage all aspects of the commercial and contractual elements of projects
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
* Monitor project costs and ensure financial efficiency throughout
* Conduct valuations and manage subcontractor accounts
* Oversee commercial management of Section 278 (S278) and highway schemes
* Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks
* Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery

**Requirements**

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
* Demonstrable experience working on Section 278 (S278) works and/or highway schemes
* Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract
* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred)
