RATE: Up to £40 per hour (dependent on experience)
TYPE: LOCUM Social Worker
TEAM: Safeguarding Team
HOURS: 37 hours per week
HYBRID: (part office / part remote)
Key Responsibilities / Purpose:
* Deliver high-quality, effective social work services to children, young people, and families in line with statutory requirements.
* Complete robust assessments and deliver focused interventions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
* Promote integrated working with multi-agency partners in accordance with the priorities of the Safeguarding Children Partnership.
* Contribute to early intervention strategies that reduce the need for statutory involvement where appropriate.
* Ensure the voice of the child is central to all planning and intervention.

There are also additional roles within the Assessment and Intervention Team.
Social Worker Requirements
- Proven experience in working with childrens services
- Current enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
- Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
