Position Details:
- Location: Magor
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Type: Full-time, ongoing role
- Salary: £20 to £23 per hour
About the Role:
As an FLT Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of modern Linde forklifts, including H50 EVO and H60 models. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of our equipment. This role would also be suitable for someone that has been a mechanic with cars but is looking for a change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Collaborate with operations team to ensure safety and efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience with engines
- Relevant mechanical or electrical experience
- Knowledge of Linde forklift models is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
