You will be working for one of our highly valued clients, who take great pride in the quality of their work and genuinely value the people who work for them. They are looking for someone with the right attitude, good work ethic and willingness to get stuck in.
This is a hands-on role where no two days may be exactly the same. You will be helping tradesmen with general tasks, keeping the site clean and organised, moving materials and, when required, assisting with deliveries. The successful candidate will be someone who is reliable, punctual, helpful and takes pride in doing a job properly.
We are looking for someone who doesn't need to be asked to help and is happy to get involved wherever needed. A good attitude and willingness to work are extremely important for this position.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting tradesmen with general day-to-day tasks
* Keeping the site clean, tidy and organised
* Moving and handling materials around the site
* Loading and unloading materials when required
* Assisting with potential deliveries
* Helping to keep work areas safe and clear
* Supporting the wider site team wherever needed
* Following instructions from tradesmen and site management
* Carrying out general labouring duties as required
Requirements
* Valid CSCS Card – MUST HAVE
* Asbestos Awareness – MUST HAVE (can be guided)
* References must be available
* Previous construction/site experience is preferred
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
* Reliable and punctual
* Hardworking with a positive attitude
* Willing to learn and help with different tasks
* Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
* Good attention to health and safety
No Asbestos Awareness certificate? If you don't currently have the required asbestos awareness training, please let us know. We may be able to guide you on how to obtain it, depending on the circumstances.
