The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with the preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns.
Supporting senior tax staff with tax compliance and advisory tasks.
Conducting research on tax legislation and staying up to date with changes in tax laws.
Liaising with HMRC to resolve client queries and ensure compliance.
Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Supporting the team with VAT returns and tax planning projects.
Preparing correspondence with clients and assisting with general tax administration tasks.
Skills and Experience Required:
Previous experience in a tax-focused role (preferably within an accountancy practice).
ATT qualified or part-qualified (or willingness to work towards qualification with support).
Good knowledge of personal and corporate tax regulations.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in using tax software (e.g., IRIS, Digita, or similar) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
