The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job Title: Senior Skills and Education Co-ordinator
Location: Lincoln (Main Works + Teal Park) - primarily on-site with some flexibility
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Initially 6 months (long-term potential)
Hours: 37 hours per week (7.5 hours Monday to Thursday, 7 hours Friday)
Pay Rate: £20.79 per hour PAYE / £28 per hour UMB
Compliance: Mandatory Basic DBS check
Job Description
Joining the team at our clients sites in Lincoln, the successful candidate will support and facilitate the delivery of early career development programs, including apprenticeships, internships, and graduate schemes. This role involves designing training programs that comply with Ofsted and DfE regulations, coordinating with educational institutions, and deputizing for the Skills and Education Manager as the second nominee for Ofsted.
Key Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an engineering training environment covering skills development.
- Minimum Level 4 qualification in engineering, learning and development, or an equivalent field.
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeship training delivery, Apprenticeship Standard structures, End Point Assessment, and government-funded training.
- Experience with Ofsted inspections.
- Ability to provide advice on talent training, upskilling, and Safeguarding/Prevent policies.
- Key soft skills: curiosity, willingness to learn, strong organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
- A full driving license and the ability to work flexible hours/locations as required
