Site Based | Manufacturing | Shift Role - double days
We’re recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business, supporting a busy production environment.
This is a varied, hands-on engineering role covering mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems, with responsibility for maintaining equipment reliability, reducing downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
The Role
* Planned preventative maintenance across production equipment
* Mechanical and electrical fault finding
* Responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime
* Root cause analysis and reliability improvements
* Supporting PLC and control-related faults
* Installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Continuous improvement and equipment modification projects
* Working closely with production and engineering teams
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
* Previous multi-skilled maintenance experience within manufacturing
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
* PPM and breakdown experience
* Knowledge of production equipment, controls and PLCs
* A recognised engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship
Food, drink or wider FMCG manufacturing experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
This is a site-based shift position, with some flexibility required around weekends and bank holidays depending on production requirements

£48000.00 - £55000.00 per year
