How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job description

Job Title: Office Administrator (Office Based – Not Hybrid)

Location: Lochrin Works, 7 Limekilns Road, Blairlinn Industrial Estate, Cumbernauld, G67 2RN

Salary: Very Competitive for the right candidate.

Additional benefits: 25 Days + Bank Holidays, Company Pension, Free Parking, Employee Assistance Programme, Life Assurance.

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hour of Work: Monday to Thursday, 8am – 5pm & Friday 8am – 3pm.

About the H W Martin Group:

From the first local fencing contracts of the 1970’s to the multi discipline national contracts of today is a journey throughout which we have always strived to exceed our client’s expectations.

We have a trained and certificated workforce of over 1,000 who deliver works and support services from design, through to build and onward maintenance for the transport and waste recycling infrastructure of the UK. With 16 operations centres from Kent to North Lanarkshire, together with our central head office facility in Derbyshire, we provide a truly national coverage.

About Lochrin Bain:

Lochrin Bain is an industry leading UK manufacturer of perimeter security fencing systems and gates. The business continues to grow from strength to strength under the current management team, with continued investment in new machinery and factory upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

* Answering inbound telephone calls from existing and potential customers.

* Processing sales orders, purchase orders, goods received administration and invoicing.

* Arranging deliveries and collections with customers, suppliers and transport companies.

* Processing weekly payroll timesheets.

* Providing general administration support to all departments as required.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills Required:

* Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

* Proactive and able to use initiative when problem solving.

* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

* Confident and reliable team player.

* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word. Excel, and Outlook.

* Previous administration experience within a busy office environment would be advantageous.

* HND or equivalent In Administration is desirable but not essential.
