Location: Bridgwater | Reach Truck Driver
Siamo Group are currently working with a well-known, prestigious client based in Bridgwater to assist with recruiting an experienced Reach Truck Driver to work in a frozen environment.

You’ll use your reach truck skills to move, store and retrieve stock accurately, while maintaining high standards of safety, care and efficiency.

Working hours and days: Monday-Friday, 8am-2pm.

Key responsibilities

Operate a reach truck safely and confidently to move, store and retrieve stock in a freezer.
Place goods in and remove goods from racking, including at height, following site procedures.
Load and unload vehicles and move stock to the correct warehouse or dispatch areas.
Check product, packaging and labels when handling goods, and report damage or discrepancies.
Keep stock secure and maintain product quality in line with food safety requirements.Skills and experience

YOU MUST HAVE previous experience in a frozen warehouse environment.
A current reach truck licence and proven experience operating a reach truck.
Experience using a LLOP is an advantage.
Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
Knowledge of warehouse procedures, food safety and health and safety requirements.
Good communication, organisation and numeracy skills.
The ability to work accurately, meet deadlines and contribute effectively to a team.
