My client is a well-established wealth management firm, and they are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Services Administrator to join their growing team.
This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years’ experience in financial services administration who is confident managing client documentation, liaising with providers, and supporting advisers with more technical aspects of financial planning.
You will play a key role in ensuring efficient operations and delivering a high standard of service to both clients and advisers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answering incoming calls and acting as a first point of contact for clients
* Welcoming clients into the office and preparing meeting rooms and refreshments
* Managing incoming and outgoing post
* Scanning, organising, and uploading documents to CRM systems
* Monitoring shared inboxes and handling correspondence
* Liaising with providers to chase outstanding information
* Maintaining the FCA daybook for advisers
* Processing letters of authority and organising policy documentation
* Supporting advisers with client file organisation and post-meeting administration
* Preparing portfolio overviews based on provider information
* Producing financial planning reports, including:
* Defaqto risk reports
* FE Analytics fund research
* CashCalc cashflow modelling reports
* Preparing annual review documentation, including:
* Portfolio valuations
* Fund performance and analysis
* Cashflow reports (where required)
* Assisting with business submissions and simple online applications
* Attending meetings with advisers where required to support the advice process
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
* Have 3–5 years’ experience in a financial services administration role
* Have a strong understanding of financial planning processes and documentation
* Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills
* Be confident liaising with providers, clients, and advisers
* Be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Have experience using CRM systems and financial planning tools
* Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Experience with tools such as Defaqto, FE Analytics, or CashCalc
What’s on offer:
£28,000 to £36,000 salary depending on experience
