Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–1:00pm (20 hours per week) until December 2026
Pay: £13.45 per hour PAYE Basic Weekly pay
I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join a well-known contractor on a large and busy site on the outskirts of Newton Abbot.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days will be quite the same! You’ll play an important part in keeping the site running smoothly, with a particular focus on supporting the internal security administration.

Previous administrative experience is required, although full training will be provided on the site-specific systems and processes.
Your duties will include:
Supporting the team with day-to-day administration and internal security processes
Arranging vehicle bookings and liaising with the prison where required
Checking and monitoring clearances for new starters
Maintaining accurate records, correspondence and documentation in line with audit requirements
Assisting with payroll, purchasing, invoicing and payments where required
Monitoring enquiries and ensuring they are dealt with within agreed timescales
Supporting with travel, accommodation and event arrangements
Providing general administrative and project support to the wider team
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous administrative experience, within Construction would be beneficial
Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organisational and time-management skills
A professional and efficient approach to work
The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
A helpful, enthusiastic and flexible attitude
