The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is an opportunity for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer who wants to take the next step in their career, working a wide portfolio of projects.
You'll be joining an established MEP design team delivering work across a wide and balanced project portfolio, spanning residential, regeneration, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors. The role is design-led, client-facing.
Working within a multi-disciplinary environment, you'll work on mechanical design packages and contribute to the successful delivery of projects from early concept through detailed design and construction support.
The role will involve:
Working as part of a design team
Liaise with other teams in the business
Ensure Design standards comply with H&S and legislation
Advise clients and design teams on energy use, Carbon reduction and sustainability
Using industry-standard tools such as CAD, and Revit
Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams
Attending technical meetings
What we're looking for:
Background in mechanical building services design
Experience from a consultancy or technically focused contractor environment
Degree qualified (or equivalent: HNC/HND+)
Ideally Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards
Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset
