The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Key Responsibilities
Design high-quality analogue and digital circuits for client projects at all stages within the product development lifecycle, from concept feasibility through to manufacture.
Contribute to the electronics hardware development within multidisciplinary projects; understand how electronic requirements are derived from the system architecture, in collaboration with software, mechanical and manufacturing engineers.
Interact with our clients to plan projects, identify and formalise design requirements, implement, test, and ultimately hand over finished designs.
Drive integration, issue resolution and verification activities at hardware and subsystem level.

You will be based at our Sagentia Innovation offices in Harston, Cambridge with opportunities for short travel to client sites in Europe or USA. We have dozens of projects in the medical, industrial, consumer, and food and beverage sectors, working with many of the world’s leading and best-known brands. As an Electronics Engineer, you will have the opportunity to use and improve your electronics engineering competencies and develop leadership skills on projects across these sectors.
Projects can range in length from a few months to several years and typically will use a talented and collaborative team to provide best practice product development expertise in electronics, mechanical and software design.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
A proven track record of the full product development lifecycle for electronics design.
A hands-on passion for designing both analogue and digital circuits.
Passionate about learning new electronic technologies.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
First or 2:1 degree, or postgraduate qualification in electronics, engineering, or a related subject.
Additional knowledge and skills beneficial to this role
FPGA hardware design experience including VHDL / Verilog programming.
Simulation of designs using Spice and/or RF simulators.
Experience in motion control (actuators and sensors) systems would be advantageous.
RF design, test and compliance to 6GHz would be advantageous.
Embedded C/C++ software design experience.
