Plant Fitter

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for a Plant Fitter on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor based near Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plant Fitter looking for a varied role involving both workshop and mobile maintenance across a modern fleet of construction plant and equipment.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs on construction plant and equipment.
Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
Attend breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance when required.
Complete inspections and ensure equipment remains compliant and operational.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Work safely in accordance with company procedures and health & safety requirements.

Dumpers
Rollers
Telehandlers
Small tools and ancillary equipment

Requirements

Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Technician or Heavy Plant Mechanic.
Strong fault-finding skills across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent are desirable.
Experience working within civil engineering, construction or infrastructure sectors.
