WE'RE HIRING - ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE

Buckingham Electrical | Full-time | City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Apprenticeship

Based in Leicestershire, working on industrial sites across England

Build your career working on industrial installations, machinery and major factory upgrades.

Buckingham Electrical is investing in the next generation of electricians. We're looking for a reliable, motivated apprentice who wants to learn, contribute to a close-knit team and build a long-term future with us.

Established in 2019, we specialise in industrial and electrical work. You'll gain experience across varied projects with support from experienced electricians.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Electrical installation on industrial and commercial sites.
Containment, cabling and three-phase power systems.
Machinery installations, control wiring and instrumentation.
Maintenance and fault-finding alongside experienced electricians.
Safe working practices and the standards expected of a professional electrician.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Aged 18 or over due to the sites we work on.
Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle to travel to designated meeting points. Company transport is provided from these meeting points to site.
Reliable, punctual and willing to get involved.
A practical mindset, attention to detail and pride in your work.
A positive attitude towards teamwork, site safety and formal study.
Willingness to travel to different sites and help keep work areas clean, organised and safe.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

A full-time, paid apprenticeship combining practical site experience with formal training.
Support with college attendance and working towards your City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 electrical installation qualification.
Guidance from an established team that wants you to succeed.
Exposure to varied industrial and commercial projects.
Opportunities to take on more responsibility as your skills develop, with the aim of progressing into a qualified electrician role within Buckingham Electrical.

ALREADY STUDYING ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION?

We also welcome applications from candidates already at college or those who have completed their college course and need workplace experience to complete their On-site Log Book. We'll assess the appropriate training route individually.

PAY, HOURS & TRAVEL

Starting pay, normal working hours, overtime expectations and any overnight travel will be discussed during the application process.

Your own vehicle is only required to get you to different designated meeting points. Onward travel to site is provided in company transport.
