Salary: CompetitiveReed Business Support are supporting a well-established and fast-growing distributor who are looking for a Packer to join their team. This new role has been created to support their increasing shipment volumes and ensure timely and accurate deliveries to their customers.
Day-to-day of the role:
Work alongside existing packers to manage and execute packing and dispatch tasks efficiently.
Support the customer service team and occasionally assist wider members of the admin team.
Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
Handle unpacking and storage of incoming shipments.
Pack and dispatch customer purchase orders accurately.
Create courier paperwork and manifests.
Share the management of purchasing required materials for the warehouse/despatch function.
Monitor and log fridge/freezer temperatures to ensure compliance with storage requirements.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
A flexible approach and a willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work to specific deadlines.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.Benefits:
