Red Event Wedding Fayres is a growing wedding events business focused on creating welcoming, high-quality wedding fayres across the North West. We pride ourselves on building genuine relationships with exhibitors and providing a warm, professional experience for both suppliers and couples.
We are a small, friendly team where communication, trust and a personal approach are important. This is a flexible, fully remote freelance opportunity, working closely with the business owner and playing an important role in growing our exhibitor network.
About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, confident and organised Telesales Professional to join our team and help increase exhibitor bookings across our North West wedding shows.
This is a remote, part-time freelance/self-employed role, offering approximately 6–9 hours per week, which can be split across three days. An immediate start is available.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Calling potential and existing exhibitors to discuss upcoming wedding fayres.

Following up warm leads and enquiries.
*
Researching and sourcing new supplier leads.
*
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers.
*
Handling objections and confidently communicating the benefits of exhibiting.
*
Following up consistently and progressing conversations towards bookings.
*
Maintaining accurate supplier notes and call records within our database.
*
Providing regular feedback and updates to the business owner.
*
Representing the friendly, welcoming ethos of the Red Event brand.
This is an active outbound sales role, so you should enjoy speaking to people on the phone and feel comfortable spending the majority of your working time making calls.
The role is particularly busy during our main event seasons:

September – November
*
January – May
There is generally a quieter period during the summer, with planning for the new season beginning around July.
A trial period will initially apply, followed by a review to ensure the role is the right fit for both sides.
Payment will be made monthly upon submission of an invoice.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
*
Has proven outbound B2B telesales experience and is confident managing the full sales process from cold call through to closing the sale.
*
Is friendly, confident and professional on the telephone.
*
Comfortable asking for the booking and confidently progressing opportunities through multiple follow-up conversations where required
*
Can build rapport naturally while maintaining a commercial focus.
*
Is confident handling objections and rejection positively.
*
Is proactive, organised and self-motivated.
*
Can work independently in a remote environment.
*
Has excellent spoken and written English.
*
Is reliable and professional.
*
Is comfortable maintaining accurate records and completing administrative tasks.
*
Comfortable using CRM systems, Excel and cloud-based software.
*
Has a clear UK accent, as this role involves communicating primarily with a UK customer base.
*
This role would not be suitable for candidates whose experience is primarily appointment setting or lead generation without responsibility for closing sales.
*
You'll work directly with the owner of Red Event Wedding Fayres, receiving regular support, feedback and ongoing communication.
Bonus points if you have:

Experience within the wedding or events industry.
*
Knowledge of the North West UK area.
*
Experience working with small businesses or creative/independent businesses.
Important Information
Applicants must have previous telesales experience.
The successful candidate will be required to provide two recent professional references before commencing the role.
