The Role
Our client is looking for a Practice Accountant, ideally part-qualified, fully qualified or recently qualified, to join their team.
The role offers a varied mix of work, including handling statutory accounts, completing personal and corporation tax returns, bookkeeping and looking after a portfolio of clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to develop their career within a modern, supportive practice.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and handling statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
Completing personal and corporation tax returns.
Supporting with VAT returns and bookkeeping.
Looking after a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact.
Building strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Responding to client queries and providing a professional, personable service.
Managing client accounts and maintaining accurate records.
Meeting deadlines and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
Supporting the wider practice team with general accountancy work.
About You
Our client is looking for an ambitious and driven accountant who enjoys client interaction and is keen to build a long-term career within practice.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
Be part-qualified, fully qualified or recently qualified.
Experience handling statutory accounts and completing tax returns.
Strong accounts and tax knowledge.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
A proactive attitude and willingness to take on responsibility.
