My client is seeking an experienced Homeless Caseworker Team Leader to lead a team of caseworkers to successfully assess and write Section 184 decision letters under Part 6 and 7 of the Housing Act 1996. The Team Leader will have experience quality checking decision letters and offer guidance, preventing homelessness where necessary.
The Homeless Team Leader will have experience with the day to day supervision of staff members ensuring they are being monitored, offering regular 1-2-1’s. Good working environment and comfortable workload is offered to members of the team making the project exciting to work on.
Duties Includes:
Must have strong experience managing homeless caseworkers within a Homeless Service.
Day to Day co-ordination and supervision of caseworkers providing direction to all staff through regular 1-2-1’s
Experience ratification and quality checking of case management and decision letters issued
To have and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, Codes of Guidance, case law and other best practice to ensure good quality s184 decisions are reachedIf you have previous experience in these areas and keen to develop your knowledge further this is a perfect team for you.
