We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative based in Newmarket. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity and for the right candidate a permanent contract may be offered (depending on workload and performance). Also, an immediate start is available.

Hours of work:

* Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm

* Friday 8am-1pm

* Overtime available in peak periods

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assembling units according to technical drawings and instructions

* Using hand tools, power tools, and adhesives to complete assembly

* Handling and fitting various materials, including acrylic, wood, and metal components

* Packing and preparing finished displays for shipping

Skills and Experience Required:

* Experience in the assembly, handling and fitting of various materials

* Happy to work in a fast-paced environment

* Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines and targets

* Confident, physically fit and comfortable with manual work
