The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Our client is looking for a Payload Systems Project Lead to lead the design, integration and test of advanced RF payload and antenna systems for space-based communications platforms.
Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will lead system-level trade studies and develop robust technical recommendations across payload architecture, ground infrastructure and communications technologies.
Responsibilities
+Lead engineering project teams, developing and maintaining technical plans covering scope, schedule, cost, resources and risk.
+Monitor technical performance against programme objectives, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
+Drive cross-functional engineering activities to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the required technical and quality standards.
+Manage technical budgets, forecasts and schedules while ensuring alignment with programme objectives.
+Define, validate and manage technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
+Lead the systems engineering team in developing system requirements, specifications and interface definitions.
Requirements
+Degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
+Significant experience in communications systems engineering and/or engineering leadership.
+Experience developing technologies for space applications.
+Knowledge of space industry standards such as ECSS.
+Previous experience leading engineering teams.
+Experience with communications satellite systems, including RF payloads, antenna systems and digital payload architectures.
+Ability to develop end-to-end system requirements and perform technical trade studies such as link budgets and capacity analysis.
