An estate agent in Kempston is looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Lettings & Property Coordinator to join our busy residential lettings team in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, has strong organisational skills and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Working closely with our lettings department and in-house maintenance team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our established residential property portfolio
As the Lettings & Property Coordinator, your role will involve the following important duties:
* Assisting with the day-to-day coordination and administration of our residential lettings portfolio.
* Acting as a point of contact for landlords, tenants and contractors, responding to enquiries professionally and efficiently.
* Working closely with our in-house maintenance team to monitor, manage and ensure the timely resolution of property maintenance issues.
* Arranging routine property inspections and following up on any matters identified.
* Assisting with tenancy renewals, move-ins and check-outs.
* Coordinating inventories, check-in and check-out reports.
* Handling tenant enquiries and assisting with the resolution of tenancy-related issues.
* Assisting with property compliance, including monitoring safety certificates and relevant documentation.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property and tenancy records.
* Providing administrative support to the wider lettings team as required. About You
* Previous experience in residential lettings, property management or a similar administrative role would be advantageous.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A professional, friendly and confident approach when dealing with landlords and tenants.
* Good attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Confident using Microsoft Office and property management software.
* A full UK driving licence is desirable.
