This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. The Role
As Teacher of English, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons.
Inspire a love of reading, writing and literature across the curriculum.
Assess, monitor and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to continue developing an ambitious English curriculum.
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to raising achievement and supporting student wellbeing.
A proactive, reflective approach to professional development.
