Tradewind are working with a Primary School in Leigh who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time working in their SEN unit within school. The role is a long- term temporary role starting in September and will run until July 2027, with the potential to be extended or be offered a permanent contract.
The school are looking for someone who has previous experience of working with children with Challenging behaviour or have worked extensively with learners with complex needs including ADHD, Autism and mutism.
This school offers an inspirational environment where creative learning is encouraged, and an innovative attitude is a must.
We are looking for:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
Experience working with complex needs
Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
