We are working with a well-established and reputable commercial vehicle dealership in Southampton, who are seeking an experienced Van Service Advisor to join their busy aftersales team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in automotive or commercial vehicle service environments who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused role.
🔧 The Role
As a Van Service Advisor, you will be the key point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth and efficient service process from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing service, maintenance, and repair bookings for vans and light commercial vehicles
* Acting as the main liaison between customers and workshop technicians
* Providing accurate updates on job progress, timelines, and costs
* Raising job cards, invoices, and service documentation
* Ensuring all work is scheduled efficiently to maximise workshop productivity
* Handling customer queries and delivering excellent service at all times
* Upselling additional work where appropriate
🧠 About You
We are looking for someone who has:
* Previous experience as a Service Advisor (van, automotive, or commercial vehicle experience preferred)
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
* Confidence working in a busy, fast-moving environment
* IT literacy, with DMS or dealership system experience advantageous
