Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker Required in York!
Our client is a family run, medium sized construction company based in Yorkshire. They oversee projects within a wide range of sectors within the construction industry, from Fit-Out, Construction and Developments, to Heritage and Bespoke Joinery.
They offer a fully integrated construction and fit out service supported by their in-house joinery workshop which specialises in high-end bespoke cabinetry and joinery. Due to their ever-growing workload, they’re looking to take on an experienced Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker.
This is a hands-on role, suited for someone with experienced in Bespoke Workshop Joinery, someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be involved in some great projects that will put their skills and creativity to the test!
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacturing bespoke joinery and cabinetry to a high standard.
* Interpreting technical drawings and working independently.
* Machining, assembling, and finishing products in the workshop.
* Working with a variety of materials including hardwoods, laminates, and sheet materials.
* Ensuring all work meets quality standards and deadlines.
Experience and Skills:
* Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or Cabinet Maker.
* Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* Skilled in using workshop machinery and hand tools safely.
* Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
* Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
