Key Responsibilities
Teaching Assistants support teachers in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum. More importantly, in this role you will:

As with most Teaching Assistant roles, no two days are the same. Duties will vary, so you should be flexible, adaptable and willing to lend a hand wherever needed.
Skills & Qualifications
You do not need to be a highly experienced Teaching Assistant to be successful in this role. If you have the right outlook, values and behaviours, we can provide the supportive environment and training opportunities to help you excel.
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:
A genuine ability to motivate and inspire children and young people to believe in themselves.
GCSE Maths and English qualifications, or a minimum of Functional Skills Level 2.
A proactive, positive and can-do attitude, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
A willingness to take advantage of our excellent free training and development opportunities, such as the Level 2 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, if not already achieved.
The ability to promote independence, positive behaviour and personal development.
A creative and flexible approach to adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
