Supervisor - Water Mains Laying
Location: South London
Rate: £250-£300 per day, Dependend on experience. 
Contract Type: Contract, CIS

Carrington West is recruiting for experienced Mains-Laying Supervisors to support a busy water infrastructure programme across South London.

You will be responsible for overseeing approximately three operational teams, coordinating day-to-day delivery and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.

The Role
Key responsibilities will include:

Supervising approximately three mains-laying teams
Coordinating daily site activities, labour and resources
Monitoring works and progress against programme
Maintaining health, safety and quality standards
Supporting the Area Manager / Site Agent with delivery
Conducting site briefings and monitoring safe working practices
Resolving day-to-day operational issues
Liaising with site teams, subcontractors and management
About You
Ideally, you will have previous experience supervising water mains-laying works.

Candidates from a gas mains-laying background will also be considered, where they have relevant experience supervising utility works and operational teams.

You should have:

Water or gas mains-laying experience
Previous experience supervising utility teams
Experience managing multiple gangs or operational teams
Strong health and safety knowledge
Good organisational and communication skills
Ability to coordinate works across multiple sites
This is a long-term contract opportunity.
