The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are seeking a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with a strong background in biomedical sciences. This role is integral to our client's team, contributing to the high standards of laboratory analysis and quality control.
Day-to-day of the role:
Perform Full Blood Count analysis on human blood samples for routine monitoring of clozapine.
Contribute to the operation of the analytical lab, including the use of LC-MS/MS for testing clozapine and other antipsychotic medications.
Manage laboratory information systems and ensure accurate data handling.
Undertake routine analysis of various biological materials, ensuring precise chemical constituent analysis.
Communicate examination results effectively to customers and associated entities.
Implement and oversee quality control procedures to uphold laboratory standards and compliance with accreditation bodies.
Engage in the development and revision of laboratory standard operating procedures.
Drive improvements in analytical methods and stay updated with advancements in the field.
Support overall laboratory operations, including supply chain management and IT support tasks.Required Skills & Qualifications:
BSc in science a relevant field eg. Biomedical Science or Medicinal Chemistry etc.
HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist with a minimum 2-3 years experience working within labs in industry.
Proficient in using laboratory information management systems.
Experience with LC-MS/MS and other relevant laboratory technologies.
Strong understanding of quality control and laboratory accreditation standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
