Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Fabrication Technician to join their Manufacturing Department, working alongside an established team of welders and fabrication specialists.
You will play a key role in producing high-quality precision metal components used in the assembly of specialist machinery supplied worldwide to the food, pharmaceutical, and additive manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities
As a Metal Fabrication Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components, including:
+Setting up and operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes, plasma cutters, and sheet rollers.
+Interpreting and working from technical drawings and CAD files to produce accurate sheet metal components.
+Performing welding and fabrication tasks across a range of metals in line with high industry standards.
+Carrying out MIG, TIG, and (where required) laser welding processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
+Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding environments.
+Strong understanding of sheet metal properties, fabrication methods, and machining operations.
+Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings.
+Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
