HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Upwood, PE26. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position! Temp to perm opportunity with a pay rise when permanent
The Role:
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be:
* Making goods deliveries using a LGV curtain side vehicle
* Work is simple C&D work 4-5 drops per day.
* Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
* Completing HGV vehicle checks
* Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
* Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
* Starting around 06:00am daily - shifts between 10-12 hours
Requirements:
* Class 1 licence entitlement
* A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
* Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest
Hours & Pay Rates (PAYE):
Monday to Friday shift pattern - 06:00-07:00 Start
Shift Length - 10-12 hours
Up to £17.50 per hour – (Monday to Friday)
