Project
Our client is currently seeking a Site Manager for a façade remediation project on a four-storey residential block in South East London. Under the Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS) works involve the removal of combustible materials from the external envelope and installation of non-combustible components, including firestopping at all key junctions. Project value £750,000.
The Role:
The works involve the removal and replacement of external cladding systems and associated fire safety upgrades. You will be managing a team of experienced sub-contractors, responsible for the day-to-day management of the project while ensuring works are delivered safely on programme and to a high standard.
* Day-to-Day running of the project as Nos1 on site.
* Coordinate subcontractors and monitor site activities.
* Ensure health & safety procedures are followed on site.
* Maintain site records including permits, RAMS and compliance documents.
* Carry out photographic progress reporting and general site documentation.
* Managing material deliveries and site logistics.
* Maintain clear communication with Head Office, your Contracts Manager and Sub-contractors.
Ideal requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor on construction projects ideally gained with a medium or high-rise developer or main contractor.
* Strong understanding of health & safety and site compliance.
* Experience managing subcontractors and site documentation.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* SMSTS (5 Day) or SSSTS.
* CSCS Card.
* First Aid at Work

£50000.00 - £60000.00 per year
