The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

As an Operative, you’ll play a vital role in our site operations, reporting directly to the Site Manager.You’ll be hands-on across various areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch, and housekeeping — all while maintaining the highest safety standards in line with CRH and SHE protocols.

This is a full-time role working on a rotating shift pattern of 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am
Due to the site’s location and shift times, having your own transport is highly recommended.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Achieving daily production targets
Recording and reporting quality data
Loading/unloading products from plant and vehicles
Ensuring accurate and timely dispatch to meet customer expectations
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
What We’re Looking For
The ideal Operative will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production and despatch environment. In addition, experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial to your application:
Good communication skills and strong numeracy
A mobile plant licence for diesel counterbalance forklift truck
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
