The Role
As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and programme requirements.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
* Setting out for marine civil engineering works, including quay, jetty and associated infrastructure.
* Supporting the delivery of reinforced concrete, marine structures, piling and drainage works.
* Carrying out quality assurance checks, inspections and maintaining quality documentation.
* Producing and maintaining accurate site records, as-built surveys and engineering reports.
* Liaising with the Site Manager, subcontractors, designers and the client to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications and construction programmes.
* Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
* Assisting with temporary works coordination and surveying activities where required.
Site Engineer Requirements:
* Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or marine infrastructure projects.
* Experience with marine civils, ports, harbours, quays, jetties, seawalls or coastal defence projects is highly desirable.
* Competent in the use of Leica, Trimble or similar surveying equipment.
* Valid CSCS Card (essential).
* SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable).
* First Aid qualification (desirable).
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
