We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy team in Chipping Norton. This is a full-time role offering £14.59 per hour with an immediate start available.

The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining parks, play areas, cemeteries, and other public spaces to a high standard. Duties will include:
Grass cutting and strimming
Hedge and shrub maintenance
General horticultural and grounds maintenance work
Litter picking and cleaning public areas
Maintaining parks, open spaces, and cemeteries
General grounds upkeep and seasonal maintenance tasks
Safe operation of chainsaws and other grounds maintenance equipment
Operating ride-on mowers, stand-on mowers, brush cutters, hedge cutters (preferably electric), and pedestrian/push mowers
Driving a flatbed truck and an electric Ford Transit van as required Requirements
Physically fit and reliable
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
IT literate
Previous grounds maintenance or horticulture experience
A valid Wood Chipper licence
Emergency First Aid at Work certificate
Experience operating ride-on mowers, stand-on mowers, brush cutters, hedge cutters (preferably electric), and pedestrian/push mowers
Ability to drive a flatbed truck and an electric Ford Transit van
A valid Enhanced DBS certificate - Essential
