LARGE FORMAT / SUPERWIDE PRINT OPERATOR

NORTHANTS

Up to £38,000 DOE + 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + 1 additional birthday bonus day + Statutory pension + Ongoing training and personal development + Immediate start available

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, standard hours 9:00am-5:30pm (flexible start / finish available e.g. 7:30am-4:00pm)

We are delighted to be working with a high-profile, fast-moving large format production print company based in Northants, who are looking to recruit an experienced Large Format / Superwide Print Operator to join their growing production team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operator to work on high-end Vutek superwide printers, including both 5 metre and 3.2 metre machines, producing high-quality large format graphics for a diverse range of applications.

Key Responsibilities

Operating Vutek large format / superwide printing equipment
Operating both 5 metre and 3.2 metre Vutek machines
Setting up and running print jobs to the required specifications
Ensuring all work is produced to a consistently high standard
Checking print quality and carrying out adjustments where required
Loading and preparing a range of substrates and media
Monitoring machines throughout production and resolving basic operational issues
Working to production schedules and meeting tight deadlines
Carrying out routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
Working closely with the wider production team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
Following company quality control and health & safety procedures
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have

Previous experience operating large format / superwide printing equipment
Experience with Vutek printers would be highly advantageous
Experience operating 5-metre and/or 3.2-metre printers
Good understanding of large format print production and substrates
Strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider production team
A reliable, proactive and positive attitude
Good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
Knowledge or experience of dye sublimation would be beneficial but is not essentialThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Large Format / Superwide Print Operator to join a successful and progressive production company.
