Delivery Driver – Chilled Foods

Location: Chelmsford
Position: Temporary to Permanent (T2P)
Start Time: 3:00 AM – 4:00 AM
Pay: £12.90 per hour Monday–Friday / £14.00 per hour alternative weekends
Permanent Salary: £26,832 per annum after 12 weeks

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for 2 reliable Delivery Drivers to join an established food distribution company in Chelmsford on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for long-term, stable work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.

You will be responsible for delivering chilled food products to approximately 15–20 customers per day across the Southeast of England. All routes are pre-planned, allowing you to work efficiently and manage your deliveries throughout the day.

Please note that this role involves early morning starts between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM, so candidates must be comfortable with early starts.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver chilled food products to approximately 15–20 customers per day.

* Follow pre-planned delivery routes across the Southeast.

* Safely load and unload chilled food products.

* Ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time.

* Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.

* Complete delivery paperwork and relevant documentation.

* Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues.

* Follow all company health, safety and food hygiene procedures.

Pay & Benefits

* £12.90 per hour Monday–Friday.

* £14.00 per hour for alternative weekend shifts.

* Temporary to Permanent opportunity.
