Salary - £50,000 - £70,000 plus package.

Are you an experienced C++ Software Engineer looking for the opportunity to work on complex and innovative software solutions within defence.
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team, designing and developing software for advanced systems used across maritime and defence systems. You’ll be involved throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through to development, integration and testing.
What you’ll be doing:
* Developing and maintaining software solutions using C++
* Designing back-end systems, communication layers and client-server applications
* Developing front-end GUIs
* Integrating software with external systems and sensors
* Unit and simulation-based testing
* Working within an Agile/SCRUM environment
What we’re looking for:
* Strong C++ development experience
* Object-oriented programming and software design experience
* Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
* Experience with debugging and fault finding
* Understanding of networking and data serialisation
* Database and front-end development experience
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
