The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Remote Working | Occasional Visits to Durham (North East England)
A leading engineering and infrastructure delivery partner is seeking an experienced Estimator to support a long-term programme of works within the UK water sector.
This role offers predominantly remote working, with occasional travel required to Durham and other project locations in the North East.
The successful candidate will join a well-established team delivering works associated with major UK water frameworks and must have demonstrable experience within the water industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of detailed cost estimates and pricing submissions
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
* Liaising with operational and commercial teams to develop accurate cost plans
* Supporting framework and project delivery teams with commercial input
* Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing enquiries
* Assisting with risk identification and value engineering opportunities
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Estimator within the water sector
* Experience working on utility, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of NEC contracts and framework environments preferred
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Full right to work in the UK
