We are actively looking for a Design Engineer to join a global automotive company in Peterborough supporting the design activities for electrified machine systems.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain engineering models, drawings and supporting design documentation using Creo.
Support mechanical packaging, electrical integration and machine-level design activities.
Work closely with project, build and validation teams throughout the development process.
Investigate technical issues and implement practical engineering solutions.
Participate in design reviews, prototype builds and engineering change activities.
Support machine build, commissioning and validation programmes.
Requirements:
Strong mechanical design experience within a product development environment.
Electrical design and integration experience, ideally involving machines, vehicles, industrial or electrified systems.
Proficiency in Creo
