We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Liverpool and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and are looking for flexible or long-term work within a supportive school environment.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students in the absence of their usual teacher, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and students remain engaged with the work provided.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Delivering pre-set lesson plans and work
* Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Supporting students with their learning where appropriate
* Taking registers and reporting any issues to relevant school staff
* Ensuring students remain on task and complete the work provided
About You
We are looking for Cover Supervisors who are:
* Confident managing secondary school-aged students
* Reliable, punctual and professional
* Able to establish positive relationships with pupils
* Confident managing classroom behaviour
* Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
* Passionate about supporting young people in education
* Previous experience working in a school or education setting is desirable
Graduates, Teaching Assistants and experienced youth workers who are considering a career in teaching are also encouraged to apply.
