The Role
Based at a bespoke engineering facility in Atherton, you’ll be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of Jigs & Fixtures for the Aerospace and Nuclear industries.
Main Duties
* Manufacture and assembly of jigs and fixtures
* Working from engineering drawings and setup instructions
* Inspecting and measuring work using micrometers, calipers and other precision instruments
* Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and safety within the toolroom
* Occasional offsite work, both in the UK and overseas
What We’re Looking For
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
* Familiar with toolroom machinery with a good understanding of engineering drawings
* Competent with manual and digital measuring instruments
* Assembly/fitting skills with good attention to detail (desirable)
* Aerospace experience beneficial but not essential
* All roles require pre-employment security screening checks, including referencing
