SEN Learning Support Assistant - Full Time (Agency Role)

Full-Time Position

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive and inclusive school in Ipswich for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential in a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

Support pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties

Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being

Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar setting)

A patient, caring, and proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
