Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with one of the UK's largest new build construction businesses, who are currently looking to appoint a Senior Site Engineer on a permanent basis to work on projects across the East of England. The initial project is on an MOD site based in Suffolk, with future projects across the healthcare, education and commercial sectors. As a Senior Site Engineer, you will be liaising with the design teams, ensuring that the project is up and running successfully and the initial set up of the project is completed to a high standard.

What are we looking for?
* Prior experience working as a Site Engineer/Senior Engineer on jobs above £20m in value.
* Excellent knowledge of site health & safety regulations.
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to interpret detail plans
* Good spatial awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out, levelling and surveying a construction site
* Working with site plans, drawings and building information models
* Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers
* Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate
* Overseeing quality control
* Monitoring health and safety
* Resolving technical problems
