The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our clients dynamic cylinder workshop team. In this role, you will be responsible for stripping, assembling, repairing and testing hydraulic cylinders and equipment across various projects.
Duties
* Strip down hydraulic cylinders
* Assess parts for wear or damage
* Provide clear job sheets for quoting
* Rebuild and test cylinders to a high standard
* Ensuring company procedures and policy’s are followed
Experience
* Proven experience working on plant, site or manufacturing facilities as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role.
* A good understanding of hydraulic systems.
* Hands-on experience with hand tools and also operating power tools such as drills and grinders.
* Ability to use measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers accurately for quality control purposes.
* The ability to understand and complete handwritten job sheets for each job.
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to fabrication dimensions or material quantities.
Working Hours: Permanent Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Overtime available
Holidays; 20 days holiday per year (to be accrued) plus bank holidays
