How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job description

Purpose
As Procurement Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for overseeing and managing delivery risk for all suppliers and commodities, enabling and unlocking on-time delivery to customer programme milestones and supporting operational flow.
This will be achieved through the effective management of Procurement Project Specialists, aligned by operational cell and programme, to manage supplier delivery of materials and services supporting ACS UK requirements across both OEM NPI and Aftermarket Spares.
Within OEM NPI and Aftermarket Spares, there are varied operating environments across cells and value streams, together with differing customer agreements and supply-chain designs, including Free-Issue. This creates diverse challenges and complexities when coordinating and managing credible supplier delivery plans.
Leading Procurement Project Specialists in cross-functional collaboration will therefore be crucial to enabling effective Procurement processes, supported by a robust governance structure. This includes participation in production cell daily stand-ups and regular customer and programme reviews.
Managing supplier delivery and quality performance will be a key responsibility and will provide critical input into commodity strategic plans. Building strong relationships with Commodity Buying is also essential to ensure delivery risks are appropriately managed through upstream Procurement processes, including Sourcing.
The role will also support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing cross-functional collaboration and functional capacity through the removal of waste and increased efficiency across key processes.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
As Procurement Delivery Manager, you will lead Procurement Project Specialists responsible for coordinating and managing credible supplier delivery plans in line with ACS UK requirements across both OEM and Aftermarket environments. You will manage team resources effectively, ensuring organisational efficiency, balanced workloads, appropriate capacity and alignment with operational cells and programmes.
You will ensure the continuous development of Procurement Project Specialists through coaching, mentoring, training and performance management, creating a high-performing team with the capability to deliver against business requirements.
Procurement
The role will be responsible for deploying and implementing effective methods, processes and governance for coordinating credible supplier delivery plans and managing delivery and quality risks that could impact operational flow or customer programme delivery milestones.
You will support production cell daily stand-ups and programme reviews, providing clear visibility of supplier delivery risks, issues and actions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to mitigate delivery risks and resolve a wide range of delivery issues and process blockers, including those relating to technical, design, quality, engineering and customer Free-Issue requirements.
You will act as a key point of contact for delivery-related queries and escalate delivery and quality performance risks and issues through appropriate daily functional meetings. You will own and balance supplier performance for delivery and quality, ensuring appropriate actions are identified and followed through.
You will integrate and lead material Free-Issue activity, managing and escalating risks as necessary and collaborating across Programmes, Goods Receipt and Procurement. You will also support supplier audits in collaboration with the Procurement Manager and build and maintain effective supplier relationships, fostering collaboration, accountability and trust.
Where required, you will collaborate with Finance to resolve supplier invoicing queries and manage materials replenishment following the initiation of Supplier Non-Conformance tasks with suppliers through Commodity Buyers.
You will support change requests once raised by Commodity Buyers, working collaboratively with Planning, Design and other key internal stakeholders. You will also liaise with and oversee Logistics activity where necessary to support standard, special and expedited transport requirements.
You will drive team compliance with key supplier transactional activities, including order book management, ensuring supplier delivery due dates are accurately represented within the MRP system.
Other Responsibilities
The role will provide supplier delivery and quality performance information and supplier insights into the creation of commodity strategic plans as required.
You will contribute to and support functional continuous improvement initiatives and projects designed to enhance efficiency, remove waste, improve cross-functional collaboration and increase functional capacity.
You will support and provide supplier delivery and quality performance information for commercial bids covering both OEM and Aftermarket Spares. You will also support budgeting, business planning and monthly business reviews as required.
You will comply with all relevant company policies, processes and trade compliance requirements.
Key Performance Measures
Performance will be measured through a range of supplier, procurement and operational measures, including:
*
Supplier OTIF to MRP Date.
*
Purchase order lines in arrears to MRP, including depth across OEM and Spares and excluding applicable Free-Issue, Goods-Issue and greater-than-three-day measures.
*

*
Purchase order lines with due dates in the past.
*
Goods In Quarantine turnaround time.
*
Goods In Quarantine open issues and quantities.
*

*
Purchase order line changes resulting in more than seven days' pushout.
*

*

*
Supplier audit adherence against plan.
Knowledge, Education, Skills and Experience
Knowledge
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Procurement principles, resource management and Procurement organisational design. Experience of commodity procurement, ideally aligned to similar ACS UK specifications or commodities, is desirable.
