Are you an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school?
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected girls' school for a caring, proactive and confident Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026 until July 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support a student with ASC and ADHD, while also providing wider classroom support when required. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping the student achieve their full potential while contributing to the wider learning environment.
The role:

Full time 5 days per week

Providing general classroom support when one-to-one support is not required
Working alongside experienced teaching staff in a positive and supportive schoolThe ideal candidate will have:
A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential) or higher
Previous experience supporting students with SEND
Excellent spoken and written English and strong communication skills
A patient, encouraging and adaptable approach
Experience working within a secondary school environment is desirableThis is a calm, nurturing environment with engaged students and a supportive staff team, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping young people thrive academically and personally.
